show news SIGG
Head of Sales Stuart Theobald says: “We are moving into the housewares sector with a new range of products and we decided to exhibit at Exclusively because it’s the premier UK show. “Being our first time at the show, we hoped to grab some passing trade and also meet several
potential key accounts to show them the whole range in one place. “We exhibited SIGG’s aluminium, tritan, polypropylene and glass drinking bottle ranges for adults and
kids; we also have new ranges of stainless steel vacuum flasks and bottles. Other new lines are the SIGG Gemstone vacuum bottle range, new kids’ bottles and an updated version of one of our original 1940s bottles.
“Our glass bottles received the best reception from buyers. For example, the SIGG Hot & Cold range and SIGG Star (pictured) and SIGG Dream. They’ve had a lot of press attention and this carried over to the buyers. “Exclusively was a learning experience. We connected with all the key retailers we wanted to meet and there were a lot of great conversations. So overall, we were very happy with our first show.”

Greener Cleaner
Marketing Manager Sue Miles says: “Although the Greener Cleaner range has been available for a few years, we have been fairly low key in selling and marketing it. But with everything in the press at the moment regarding plastics, we decided this was the right time to
invest in the show and introduce Greener Cleaner to a wider audience. “We showcased our Greener Cleaner Eco-Flek range cleaning utensils made from recycled plastic. The
product composition resonated with buyers for its message regarding using recycled plastic and helping to reduce plastic pollution and use of single-use plastic. “New lines from us include Greener Cleaner Nature: a range of six products made with bamboo handles,
the world's fastest renewable resource. And in the planning stage is the Greener Cleaner Lobby Brush (a long-handled dustpan & brush). “Our overall experience of the show was very positive, with a number of good quality interested enquiries.
A particular highlight was talking to buyers over lunch and, after telling them about our products, they came to our stand and placed an order!”

New Soda
Head of Sales Peter Battersby says: “We decided to exhibit because we are strong in the independent sector, and wanted to expose our range to a broader customer base. “We showed our existing range, together with five product launches: Write on Timers, Cook Station, Al Desko Lunch Box, Mighty Magnets and Salt and Pepper Pads. “Our multi-award-winning Big Peeler (pictured) continued to be the star of the show but of
the new products, our Cook Station attracted a lot of interest, as it is an elegant utensil pot and knife block combined. “We were busy all the time and met many existing customers as well as new contacts. We
were particularly impressed by the number of good export enquiries, and met several key European retailers.”
