Monday February 4 2019 THE NATIONAL MOTORCYCLE MUSEUM, BIRMINGHAM

a major re-edit and rebrand for Autumn Fair 2019. The exhibition will switch locations within the

NEC from the Piazza to the Atrium, revealing newly organised halls. Two major boulevards will connect each sector of the show, ensuring buyers’ dwell time is maximised. The fresh layout will also bring together contemporary and general gift. According to ITE Plc, the re-edit will ‘improve

visitor flow and facilitate greater crossover buying opportunities, delivering an Autumn Fair that will be the sourcing destination for all of retail, with content that will encourage multiples to source more private label/own brand with exhibitors at the show. In addition, a new investment programme will focus on increasing attendance from online and international retailers.’ Louise added: “Our customers asked us to change

the layout of the show and to also see how we can bring the two separate gift halls together, and we listened. We are delighted to have achieved that.

The response has been beyond what we had expected. “Retailers will be attracted to the event by world- class content programmes that help them innovate and differentiate from their peer set. Maximising time at the event by finding the right partner or product will also be easily facilitated by Autumn Fair Product Match, which saw its soft launch at this year‘s Fair.” ITE Plc also promises a bold new look and feel in 2019 that will create ‘some retail theatre and magic moments that will inspire retailers to emulate in store’. Louise concluded: “Looking forward, Autumn Fair

is evolving as we embrace the structural changes in the market. Consumers have not stopped buying goods but how they buy has changed. “In 2019, both Spring and Autumn Fair are well positioned to continue providing a unique proposition for retailers. With the new re-edit plans,

we’re looking to really optimise the Fair experience for both visitors and exhibitors, including updating show sectors to present real opportunities for crossover buying and better-enabled networking. As the hub for all of retail, 2019 will offer buyers tangible profitable insight that will help them stay ahead of the curve.”
