Bitzer
Bitzer has built scroll compressors for low-GWP refrigerants (A2L) on a large scale.
Scroll compressors from Bitzer for A2L refrigerants have been approved for serial production. The refrigerants concerned, R454B, R452B and R32 have a low global warming potential (GWP) and have low flammability ratings. They are also suitable for operation with A1 refrigerants and the Orbit series in the VA model range will continue to be available for operation with A1 refrigerants. Orbit and Orbit+ are already integrated into the Bitzer software, ensuring that they can be quickly and easily configured. The Orbit and Orbit+ compressors feature displacements of between 20 and 80 m3
/h (50 Hz) and are designed for air
conditioning systems and heat pumps in particular. All the compressors can be operated at a fixed speed or using an external frequency inverter with variable speed (35Hz to 75Hz). Orbit and Orbit+ scroll compressors can be equipped with the Bitzer Advanced Header Technology, providing customers with hundreds of potential tandem and trio assembly combinations.

The range comes in various sizes to help maximise kitchen capacity, including 1/1, ½, 1/3, ¼, 1/6, 1/9, 2/1 and 2/3.
The depth of the containers ranges from 20mm, 40mm, 65mm, 100mm, 150mm to 200mm. Besides standard containers, there are also lids (with or without notch) and perforated containers for different applications.

Available from October 2019, Daikin UK offers a low-height, single fan Sky Air range up to 25kW capacity, with a compact casing that minimises visibility and can be wall mounted on a 600mm bracket.
The reduced height, weight and newly positioned handles make it easier to transport and install, while the hinged door and seven- segment display make it easier to handle and service. Replacing the RZQ-C top blow units, the Sky Air Advance Series RZA-D unit now offers 20 and 25kW capacities in a compact new single fan casing.
Available in 7.1, 10, 12.5 and 14kW capacity, the new low height Sky Air Alpha series RZAG-N delivers one of the highest Alpha specification and ECA eligibility, within much smaller dimensions. The new range has a 40m pre-charged pipe-run and EDP settings.
