VAC & Refrigeration LIVE has been designed to keep its attendees updated and


in the know, tackling the issues that matter most to the UK HVACR industry and its end-users by not only providing a platform for new innovations, but also through a carefully crafted three-day programme of seminars, CPD- presentations and expert panel discussions.


The over-arching topic of the day is Climate Change and Climate Action, which has been driving development across the sectors, from F-Gas legislation in the cooling sector to de-carbonisation initiatives in the heating sector, through to increasing effi ciency demands across the board and product life-cycle assessment. This is why the main theme of HVAC & Refrigeration LIVE is Climate Change. The Conference Centre will host a wide range of morning briefi ng sessions, topical seminars and

Contractors and installers will be able to make sure they are fully up to date with products, services and more by attending the HVAC & Refrigeration LIVE CPD and Workshops Theatre. Sessions will be both hands-on and rapid-fi re ensuring an interesting and diverse programme throughout the show. The Skills & Training Zone will focus on the future of industry in the face of the engineering skills crisis, giving businesses advice on apprenticeships – including training and funding – and including an apprentice demonstration area. VAC & Refrigeration LIVE will be one of the venues hosting a SkillFRIDGE – Worldskills UK superheat competition 2020. RACHP Apprentices who have registered with Worldskills UK/ SkillFRIDGE will be invited to attend this national heat which will see three full days of competition. Previous winners have been invited to makeup part of the judging team along with top industry experts. The live competition area – complete with products kindly supplied by supporting sponsors – will see apprentices putting themselves on the line to show visitors their confi dence in the quality of their training.
