Huayi Compressor Barcelona, alongside its brand Cubigel Compressors, is part of the commercial refrigeration division of Huayi Compressor Co., one of the largest hermetic compressor manufacturers in the world today.


The company will participate in Chillventa and will launch the second generation of its U range units. It was in 2014 that the business first launched its U range, which represented a breakthrough in compressor technology owing to its performance, dimensions and quietness.


Huayi Compressor Barcelona has now announced the launch of the new NUS models, which use R290 and reach a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 1.9 W/W, which represents a 5% improvement over the earlier NUT models.


This new range can not only work in LBP applications, such as freezers, but also in MBP applications, such as coolers.


For example, the use of this new compressor generation in 300 litre capacity freezers can yield a 5% reduction in energy consumption with respect to previous models. This represents a reduction of CO2


emissions of 235Kg over a 10-year period.

Another big theme for the show is the use of R32 refrigerant. Earlier this year, Panasonic promised a full switch to R32 for its RAC solutions. R32 has a 75% lower impact on global warming, when compared with previous systems using R410A. On the stand, Panasonic will be showcasing its newly designed RAC range including floor consoles, split, multi-split, cassettes and duct units. In addition, it will introduce the full PACi room air conditioning range for commercial use, all compatible with R32.
