After a period of intensive trainingwithRACHP experts to ensure the competitors can compete according to industry’s stringent standards, againstwhich theywill be benchmarked, the WorldSkillsUKLIVEeventwill host the


SkillFRIDGEfinalists and provide themwith an arena to showcase their abilities to awider audience.

Fromyoung professionals pursuing careers in engineering, technology and construction, to those with an interest in the health, lifestyle or creative sectors, all receive the opportunity to demonstrate their talents at theWorl competitions,which are

businesses, education and government,working collectively to help accelerate young people’s careers and bolster the reputation of apprenticeships. As such, theWorldSkillsUKLIVEevent ismuchmore than a platformformulti- industry skills competitions.Drawingmore than73,000youngsters fromschools across the country each year, the interactive event–which alsowelcomes parents, families and young adults–enables themto come face-to-facewith major employers and tr aining providers froma variety of se ctors; try their hands at a range of jobs-related activities, fromTVproduction to v obtain one-to-one guidance fromexpert careers advisors. Over the course of the three-day event, the apprenticeswill be taskedwith the completion of a series of challenging assignments under test conditions, in a comprehensive examination of their overall knowledge, practical skills, and adherence to industry standards.
