Haier
Haier announced a range of products at last month’s IFA 2018. It unveiled the F+, a fi ve-door fridge-freezer that is a culmination of Haier’s continuous quest to keep food fresher for longer. Designed to meet modern consumers’ demands for fresher food and extended shelf-life, every compartment of the F+ has been created with the optimisation of food preservation in mind.
Haier also presented its Iconic Series of fridge-freezers. The Iconic Black Series and Iconic Glass Series constitute Haier’s response to growing consumer demand for refrigerators equipped with advanced technologies that do not compromise on design. The two ranges of multidoor fridge-freezers are the largest on the market in terms of format, and feature Haier’s Fresher Techs technologies, designed to conserve the nutritional content of food for longer, as well as improving energy effi ciency.
It also showcased InstaSwitch, an upright single door freezer that can also be used as a fridge. Its considerable storage capacity can be divided into separately controlled compartments, ideal for stocking a large number of diff erent foods in the best possible conditions.

Steve Crick and Peter Robinson developed DosaFil-Duo in response to key concerns regarding water treatment and control in the commercial and industrial HVAC market. Combined, they have more than 40 years’ experience in the water treatment industry within specialist roles such as industrial water fi ltration, manufacture and application of specialist solid chemical technologies, and general water treatment management. DosaFil-Duo enables systems to be operated and maintained in line with guidelines detailed in BS8552 and BSRIA BG29 and BG50. it allows systems fouled with suspended solids and deposits to be cleaned while online (with fi ltration possible to 0.5 microns), potentially eliminating the need for costly offl ine cleaning and remediation. Smart monitoring technology automatically notifi es users of leaks or when fi lter bags need changing, with communication options for BMS built-in as standard. Oxygen is continuously expelled from recirculating water thanks to the unit’s automatic air vent and integrated coalescing device, while a fully insulated jacket prevents heat loss/gain from treated systems.
