Haier

Haier announced a range of products at last month’s IFA 2018. It unveiled the F+, a fi ve-door fridge-freezer that is a culmination of Haier’s continuous quest to keep food fresher for longer. Designed to meet modern consumers’ demands for fresher food and extended shelf-life, every compartment of the F+ has been created with the optimisation of food preservation in mind.

Haier also presented its Iconic Series of fridge-freezers. The Iconic Black Series and Iconic Glass Series constitute Haier’s response to growing consumer demand for refrigerators equipped with advanced technologies that do not compromise on design. The two ranges of multidoor fridge-freezers are the largest on the market in terms of format, and feature Haier’s Fresher Techs technologies, designed to conserve the nutritional content of food for longer, as well as improving energy effi ciency.

It also showcased InstaSwitch, an upright single door freezer that can also be used as a fridge. Its considerable storage capacity can be divided into separately controlled compartments, ideal for stocking a large number of diff erent foods in the best possible conditions. www.haier.com/uk

DosaFil

Two leading experts in industrial and commercial water treatment have joined forces to create a ground-breaking product for the cleaning, treatment and protection of commercial heating and cooling systems. The patent pending DosaFil-Duo is the only device on the market to combine the safe dosing of solid or liquid chemical treatments (of any brand) into hot or cold closed recirculating water systems with constant side stream fi ltration and continuous air removal.

Hanwell Solutions

Hanwell Solutions has launched a software platform to revolutionise access to real-time data and reporting

capabilities any time, anywhere across the world. Hanwell EMS has been specially developed by software engineers to interface seamlessly with Hanwell Pro and Hanwell IceSpy monitoring solutions in an industry- leading hardware/software combination.

The browser-based user interface is easy to navigate and the single platform incorporates interactive tools for analysis and immediate alarm notifi cation. Hanwell EMS is perfect for smaller applications right through to multiple site or user situations, and can be extended and adapted as required to meet all customer requirements. The EMS platform has been developed for maximum fl exibility and enhanced control of data and events from anywhere in the world via cloud- or server-based confi guration. Interactive graphs, tables and plan views enable users to easily analyse data in multiple ways. www.hanwell.com

The unit features smart monitoring technology as standard to ensure optimal fi lter bag replacement. DosaFil-Duo’s standard operating pressure and temperature ranges are also unmatched. Field trialed for over 12 months, this proven technology eff ectively protects commercial and industrial systems from the damaging eff ects of corrosion, limescale and fouling, optimising the energy effi ciency, performance and longevity of equipment. Steve Crick and Peter Robinson developed DosaFil-Duo in response to key concerns regarding water treatment and control in the commercial and industrial HVAC market. Combined, they have more than 40 years’ experience in the water treatment industry within specialist roles such as industrial water fi ltration, manufacture and application of specialist solid chemical technologies, and general water treatment management. DosaFil-Duo enables systems to be operated and maintained in line with guidelines detailed in BS8552 and BSRIA BG29 and BG50. it allows systems fouled with suspended solids and deposits to be cleaned while online (with fi ltration possible to 0.5 microns), potentially eliminating the need for costly offl ine cleaning and remediation. Smart monitoring technology automatically notifi es users of leaks or when fi lter bags need changing, with communication options for BMS built-in as standard. Oxygen is continuously expelled from recirculating water thanks to the unit’s automatic air vent and integrated coalescing device, while a fully insulated jacket prevents heat loss/gain from treated systems. DosaFil-Duo has an quick-release lid to make adding water treatment chemicals or changing fi lter bags fast and simple. Users may use solid or liquid chemicals from any water treatment brand. DosaFil-Duo eliminates the need for a separate by-pass chemical feeder, auto air vent and fi lter device, and Installation takes less than a day. It is a green technology that optimises energy and water consumption, minimises unplanned maintenance and system downtime, and extends the life of boilers and system components. www.dosafi l.co.uk
