beginning of July, it seems such a long time ago when

we celebrated the successes of many. Yet, it’s only just over two months since. Let’s look back to the 4th July, Independents

Day, at the IER Awards as Linda Dorling with Mike Bushell made a great double act hosting an overwhelming and memorable 2025 success. You will see in this issue many memorable photos. Albeit we are unable to show all, they can be viewed on the www.ierdawards.co.uk website. Back to more recent, visiting IFA, Linda and I split our limited time to gather as much information as possible to keep you informed. Ironically, we only met up briefl y on the SANUS Stand minutes before I departed for the airport.

Those who have visited IFA will know how vast the Show is and appreciate it takes a while to go around 33 Halls, incorporating 1,800 exhibitors. For us, that was besides attending diff erent ‘back-to-back’ press conferences for 2 days. Comfortable shoes and strategic planning were a must. Whilst some IFA information is mentioned in this Autumn issue, we will continue to upload more on IER Daily and in the IER Winter issue. Now, as we go to press, Stacey, our new and

experienced Publication Manager, plus Linda and I, will be attending the Sirius Buying Group Trade Show in Milton Keynes, followed by the EI Live Show in Farnborough, for updates relating to custom install market. On behalf of the IER Team, wishing you all well and continuing success.
