BIOECO FEATURE BIOECO fits comfortably in all seasons!

The Bioeco brand was only launched in the UK in 2023, but since its introduction it has been growing its presence throughout the market – mainly due to its selection of strong and successful retail partners. Here, we find out more about what’s driving Bioeco forward…

T

he Bioeco factory started producing footwear back in 1927 and continues to be operated by Michal Góralczyk, CEO, who is the third generation to carry on the family business. They have seen and adapted to many changes in the footwear industry over their last 97 years in existence. They have kept all their production of Bioeco products in their own factory, which in turn leads to a better quality product, delivered on time and it also enables a quick turnaround on repeat orders – which is a major benefit for any Bioeco stockist.

The brand combines the best traditions of classical craftsmanship with modern technology, but at the same time also cares for the environment and aims to create a better future for generations to come. The business follows the philosophy of sustainable fashion; it believes

that with small steps and bold decisions it can help towards changing the fate of our planet. Bioeco’s soles are made using recycled materials. In the production of its shoes it uses high quality natural leather that meets EU standards, ensuring each of its products meets the highest quality standards.

Bioeco collections are distinguished by its classic designs, its long-term vision and the flexibility to suit its customers’ needs. Its range consists of classic court shoes on various different heel types and heights, as well as occasional shoes with matching bags and knee- length boots and ankle boots. These are all made on a G fitting last and have the brand’s patented Soft Step System which is an added comfort feature in all of its collections. “We put a lot of thought into our products along with our customers and employees so

that we can follow the philosophy of sustainable fashion,” says Mr Góralczyk. “We are not afraid of challenges and are constantly improving our designs and production techniques to create a product you will love, and when you wear a pair of Bioeco shoes you will not want to take them off!”

A timeless and innovative brand Bioeco is a timeless and innovative brand that has proven that it is possible to produce top quality footwear while maintaining ecological principles. In its production the company only uses the highest quality natural leathers from the best tanneries in Italy and the introduction of soles made from recycled material. Mr Góralczyk continues: “We want to make sure we create safe products for your health and comfortable for your feet. The leather from which we make our footwear is tested for its chromium content; we care especially about the origin of the leather for our leather linings and leather insoles, because it is in contact with the foot and exchanges its content with the wearer.” All of the brand’s products are made on a G fitting last, which in turn leads to excellent fitting and comfort without losing the style and elegance that every lady wants.

Last season the brand introduced a range of H fitting product which received a very positive response from its retail stockists, and this led the company to expand its range of H fitting products even further.

Since Anthony Cassidy started working with Bioeco back in 2018 there has been a steady growth of the brand in all the best independent footwear retailers and department stores in Ireland, including Cordners Shoes, Victor Dwyer Shoes and McElhinneys Department Store to name but a few.

“We work very closely with our customers as they tell us what is required for each individual market,” explains Mr Cassidy.
