FOOTWEAR TODAY LIVE: WHERE BRANDS AND BUYERS CONNECT!

Footwear Today Live returned to Birmingham in February with more than 130 leading footwear brands showcasing the latest must-have trends for the year ahead…

B

ack in February, Footwear Today Live returned in style to the National Conference Centre in Birmingham –

bigger, busier, and more dynamic than ever before! Spanning two floors and nine buzzing rooms, the show brought together more than 130 footwear and accessories brands, creating a vibrant hub of inspiration for the industry. Retailers travelled from across the UK to

attend what has fast become a must-visit event in the buying calendar. So expansive was this year’s showcase that many visitors found one day simply wasn’t enough! What continues to set the event apart is

its winning combination of convenience and community. Centrally located in the Midlands, with easy transport links, free parking, and even a dedicated shuttle bus from Birmingham International station, the show offers a seamless experience from arrival to departure. Add to that its welcoming, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and it’s clear why buyers return season after season.

Crucially, Footwear Today Live offers one

of the first opportunities to explore upcoming collections in person – something retailers clearly value. For many, it’s the ideal setting to reconnect with key suppliers, discover new brands, and place orders for the seasons ahead. “I always look forward to Footwear Today

Live, not just because it manages to group together almost all my suppliers under one

roof (although that certainly helps!), but it’s always such an easy event,” said Sarah Decent of Modish. “Parking next to the venue and a delicious free lunch may sound trivial, but it means that all I need to focus on is buying! “The February show was particularly

productive for me as I’ve just started stocking Barefoot shoes, and they’ve been a massive hit! El Naturalista must have increased their range

for AW26 four-fold, which is going to make it easy to meet demand in the Autumn, and I got to see several examples of these at the show, which was really helpful.” Ms Decent also said that she made orders

with ROKA for the first time, and after many years of doing business together, she finally put faces to the names of the sales team at the Shoe String stand!
