detection and high performance LED illumination equipment, is pleased to announce the launch of its IPAnything module (IPA). The IPAnything is a simple yet powerful input/output controller, which is designed to convert any type of analogue sensor to an IP system, or vice versa. The IPAnything is built in a compact,
G New 24” Extra-Deep 19”
Rack Cases From METCASE M
ETCASE has launched a new extra-deep 24” version of its bestselling COMBIMET 19” enclosures which are
perfect for server rack type applications. The new cases are 610 mm (24”) deep – significantly deeper than the existing standard depths of 265 and 365 mm. The new depth is suitable for deep 19” racks, for example 1,000 mm. All COMBIMET enclosures offer complete access to the
PCBs: the top, base and rear panels are removable. The top and base can be specified as either vented or unvented. Other features include ergonomic front panel handles and mounting holes for PCBs and chassis. M4 earth studs on all components ensure electrical continuity. The new models are available in all heights from 1U to
6U and are painted in black, RAL 9005. The front panels are also in black. Cases are supplied fully assembled. Prices for the new models start at £120. All COMBIMET cases can also be supplied fully customised to individual requirements.

heavy duty waterproof housing. It is fitted with a 12V/24V DC socket to power the sensor, four alarm inputs, three relay outputs and an analogue input, this ensures that the IPAnything can truly handle all types of equipment. The IPAnything allows the installer to
create individual network alarms to connect video management systems (VMS), IP cameras or other network devices. It also enables the installer to monitor and control alarm sensors, sirens, gates and lights. In addition, its web based user interface is an intuitive way for installers to configure network alarms for integration with VMS software, or direct control of cameras. The IPAnything provides flexibility as it
is easy for installers to add IP devices onto an analogue based security or home automation system. This has many advantages including a cost effective way to future proof the site as new actions can be created and adjusted over the network. It is also simple to add additional IP products onto the network.

he new Type 8396A accelerometer uses a MEMS
variable capacitance, silicon sensing element to simultaneously measures acceleration and/or low- frequency vibration in three mutually perpendicular axes from DC to 2,000Hz. The integrated signal amplifier provides a wide range of industry standard output signals options to interface with most current DAQ systems.
The sensing element and electronics are contained in a
lightweight, hermetically sealed, welded titanium housing with either a circular 9 pin connector or an integral cable. Ground isolation is obtained by mounting the sensor using one of range off-ground accessories or by adhesive mounting using the side of the sensor with the integral hard anodized plate. The combination of wide frequency range, low noise
and operating temperature from -55°C to +125°C combined with small size and mass make the new Type 8396A triaxial accelerometer ideal for applications wherever very low frequency measurements need to be made accurately, even under varying temperatures in exposed, outdoor environments.
