“McDonald’s is actively looking for prospective franchisees across the UK and Ireland to operate a model it believes strikes the perfect balance between freedom of ownership and hands-on support – giving franchisees the opportunity to thrive”


according to McDonald’s framework and requirements, ensuring uniformity and commitment to the brand. There are three interview stages to


the franchisee recruitment process and applicants that pass the first interview are invited to spend five days in a McDonald’s restaurant working alongside the crew and managers to determine whether franchising is a good fit for


them and whether they are a good fit for McDonald’s. If successful throughout the selection process, applicants will be invited to participate in the Franchisee Training Programme, which involves restaurant training for a minimum of 16 weeks, followed by a business immersion and handover process. Next year, McDonald’s will celebrate its 50th anniversary in the UK, having


opened its first restaurant in Woolwich in 1974. The business continues to innovate and invest in success, making it an exciting brand to be part of.
