professionals come to learn

Where L&D The theme of change and its impact on the workplace has always been

a hot topic for the L&D community, and this year it is understandably high on the agenda at World of Learning. Speakers, including applied futurist

Tom Cheesewright, will examine how learning – not just within the workforce, but within L&D itself – is critical to adaptability.

Several of the presentations and case studies will discuss a more

analytical approach to learning programmes, and on 15 October Andy Lancaster and other respected L&D practitioners and thought-leaders will participate in a lively debate: ‘Evaluation – the holy grail or an unnecessary distraction for the L&D professional?’ Turn to page 25 for the full conference programme.

You’ll find more than 100 leading and innovative suppliers at the exhibition and more than 50 free-to-attend seminars and workshops. Select the topics most

relevant to your aspirations and the challenges you face to learn from experts on topics including digital transformation, using games and immersive technologies, leading remote workers, and accelerating organisational change through people. Find out about the free seminars on pages 36 and 37.

The exhibition offers seven Inspiration Zones, including the VR Suite, Team Building Zone and Life Skills Library. New for this year, the Live Demo Zone will allow thorough assessments of the latest L&D methods and technologies in

comprehensive live and interactive demonstrations. Explore these zones to inform your decision-making and to connect with peers and suppliers.

I and the team at World of Learning are delighted to bring you an event that is sure to inform and inspire.
