Knowledge sharing
Joan Keevill of the eLearning Network (eLN) on learning tech trends, the latest ideas and general L&D expertise
T
he eLN is delighted to be part of World of Learning 2019, sponsoring Learning Design Live once again. Learning
Design Live is specifically for anyone involved in learning tech design. This year’s programme features several sessions over the two days from eLN’s directors and industry partners, including: • Former chair of the eLN board John Curran discussing ‘brain-friendly e-learning’ and demystifying neuroscience
• Sophie Costin of eLN industry partner Make Real showcasing how virtual reality helps you supercharge your learning
• Former eLN director Toby Harris of Filtered revealing why learning is integral to high performance
• eLN directors Andy Moorman and Michael Ditchburn exploring a future without Flash and the skills non-learning designers need to modernise old content
In addition, several board members
are sharing their advice and expertise on the eLN exhibition stand situated in
the Lounge. If you’re a current eLN member please pop by and say hello, and if you’re considering joining the eLN, drop in and learn more about the benefits of being a member – no need to book, just come along and join us on the day. As a not-for-profit run by L&D
professionals, the eLN’s mission is to encourage everyone working in the learning technology sector and the wider L&D community to network and share their knowledge and experience. There is so much to learn and it seems we need to learn faster than ever before, if we’re not to be swamped by the digital learning revolution. So, come along to World of Learning, select which sessions are most relevant to you, then visit Learning Design Live
and share your issues and ideas with your peers.
