One year on

p Hristo and Vanya Yankovi

The next level V

Vanya and Hristo achieved the work-life balance they dreamed of with Fantastic Services

anya and Hristo Yankovi had the ambition to run their own profi table business but did not want this to come at the cost of their free time and precious

family moments. When they launched franchise, they started small – just

three team members covering a modest area in Oxford. Today, they manage 64 technicians, divided into teams that cover parts of London and the North West, providing 12 high-end professional cleaning services for both domestic and commercial properties.

What made you choose Fantastic Services? Vanya: We've always had the ambition to grow our business beyond what it was initially. But at the same time, we did not want the business to consume our family life. To us, family is what matters most. And I guess this value resonated with me when we decided to join the Fantastic family of services. I was also really impressed by how well organised the company is.

What was it like in the beginning? Hristo: The beginning was very exciting but it was also painless. In business, people can promise you the world until the moment you sign a contract. But the team at Fantastic Services proved to be very down to earth and

responsive to our needs. We were able to adapt quickly to the company's standards and our business just took off. That's when I knew I had made the right decision.

How did your fi rst year of running the franchise go? Vanya: It was terrifi c! We started with a team of just three people, providing domestic cleaning. But week after week, month after month, we were adding more people to our roster, increasing our range of services. We were growing – not just in numbers, but in expertise as well. We started providing deep carpet cleaning with professional machines and extensive property-wide cleaning sessions done after renovation, delivering services to places hundreds of miles away. Things were going so well that we decided to quit our second business and invest our time and energy fully on the franchise.

Did you achieve the work-life balance that you were looking for? Hristo: Honestly, I could have not imagined that it was possible to develop our business to this extent without being stressed out all the time. But here we are. I think we were somewhat lucky to join Fantastic Services just as they were developing their digital tools. We handle everything online – it’s all automated, saving us so much time.

What are your plans for the future? Vanya: Well, we’ve come this far. We will continue to do our best work, expand our coverage and grow, not just in size but as professionals as well. l
