From Madrid’s underground to a global cultural ecosystem, Blackworks redefines techno as experience, identity, and generational legacy.

SOUND AND EXPERIENCE

The core of Blackworks will always be its sound, though it will never be a static one.

“The base will always be hard techno, but we don’t want to box ourselves in. We’re adding new layers: industrial, raw, hardgroove, trance influences… The idea is to keep the intensity while cons- tantly evolving. I believe our curation is what sets us apart: we look for artists who open new paths, who embody the rawness and authenticity we want to transmit.”

But it’s not all about the lineups. For Novoa, the challenge is to make each edition work as a fully immersive, total experience:

“We want to take the experience to another

sculptural, luminous, interactive activations, futuristic visuals… From the moment you walk in, we want you to feel like you’re hacking reality. For me, it’s not just a festival: it’s a journey, a movie where the crowd is the main character. The feeling of opening the doors at IFEMA and seeing more than 15,000 people come in is something that left a mark on me. Pushing past the limits we set for ourselves and creating the biggest electronic event IFEMA has ever seen… that’s what drives me to keep innovating.”

BEYOND MUSIC: A CULTURAL ECOSYSTEM

If sound is the foundation and the experience is the journey, the future also means diversifying the cultural landscape.

“Our most ambitious project right now is Blackworks Lab. We want it to be a space to explore fashion, art, and visual culture, and to give people something they can live beyond the event. For us, clothing isn’t merchandising: it’s identity, it’s a statement. We’re also exploring new content formats and digital experiences to stay closer to our community day to day. Through this process I’ve learned to think bigger, to surround myself with a strong team, and to understand that Blackworks is already a cultural ecosystem and not just a festival.”

46 level. More immersive shows,

That same spirit seeks to expand into other artistic territories.

“Blackworks has always been more than music. With Blackworks Lab we want to open ourselves to fashion, digital art, and urban culture. We want our aesthetic

recognized in the streets too, in collaborations with artists, in visual projects. For me, the challenge is for Blackworks to be felt as a culture, not just as a party.”

COMMUNITY AND LEGACY

In the middle of this global ambition, the founding root remains untoucha- ble.

“We will never forget where we come from: 2019, a party made by ravers, for ravers. That community is untouchable. That’s why we’ll keep creating special experiences for the most loyal: secret events, meet & greets, unique sets, and direct communication with them. Expansion doesn’t mean drifting away, it means giving them even more reasons to feel part of this.”

Daniel’s horizon is clear: the future isn’t measured in dates, but in legacy.

“We want to establish ourselves as a global movement, not just a festival. My vision is for Blackworks to set a new standard in the techno scene: in how it’s produced, how it’s lived, and how it connects with people. Ten years from now, I see Blackworks as a global cultural

headquarters and concept stores in key markets, a consolidated fashion line, and a community that lives Blackworks day to day. Beyond that, I dream of one day being studied in the history of music

movement of a generation, a before and after in the scene. For Blackworks to mean legacy.”

The 2025–2026 plan confirms what Blackworks already is: a project that plays on multiple dimensions at once. Festival, laboratory, brand, community. A proposal that isn’t just about filling venues, but about expanding a cultural code born in Madrid’s underground and now capable of speaking to the world.

and events as a defining brand: events worldwide, and our energy to be

The movement tells the story of how a collective of ravers became a global force, of how intensity can transform into identity, and of how electronic music continues to write its rules in real time. What lies ahead isn’t just expansion: it’s the building of a legacy.

Blackworks was never the work of a single person. If anything explains its strength, it’s the constellation of individuals who sustain it: DJs who take risks with uncompromising sets, bookers who build impossible bridges, designers who turn ideas into visual impact, and a crowd that sees the party as identity. Each one contributes a fragment of energy that, together, keeps the movement alive.

The staff is the invisible skeleton behind every

producers, creatives, and promoters working against the clock so what the crowd perceives as magic becomes possible. At Blackworks it’s not just about sticking to a schedule, but about protecting an identity: ensuring every show feels like a once-in-a-lifetime event.

The DJs, are the sonic pulse of the project. They don’t just fill hours with music; they embody the rawness, intensity, and authenticity

define the brand. Every booking is a statement, and every set a spark that reinforces the trust of a crowd that recognizes in them a shared language.

But no festival exists

community. The ravers are Blackworks’ true fuel: the ones who travel, return, surrender without hesitation, and build, through their presence, that sense of family. At a time when club culture is often seen as fragmented, Blackworks has achieved the opposite: consolida- ting a nucleus that recognizes itself on the dancefloor and stays connected beyond it.

What sets Blackworks apart from other brands isn’t just its scale or its curation. It’s the sum of these forces: staff who dream with every production, DJs who push the limits, bookers who take risks, creatives who imagine, and a community that answer with blind trust. Blackworks is the proof that when electronic culture is lived as a collective project, it can transcend any boundary.
