perhaps discuss your Amsterdam?
iconic night at Bret
“Amsterdam is already one of my TOP 3 favorite cities in the world. But when it’s ADE time… The city just gets a different color and taste, a sparkle. You guys know what I’m talking about :) So yes, Amsterdam Dance Event is definitely one of my favorites and one of the most important times of the year for me. I have sooo many memories there. Also because every year I try to be open and get involved in different kinds of activities, including the panels of course - let me say Dave Clarke’s pa- nels specifically are the best ones I’ve been to. One of my all-time favorite memories: the year in which myself, Carl Cox, Kölsch and others did a cooking competition where the jury was formed by Dave Clarke, Seth Troxler and Paul Oakenfold, so much fun.”
“Thank you for asking about my event at Bret, this is something I am very proud and happy about and I believe we can say it became one of ADE classics. It’s a daytime afterparty that is on every year on ADE Sunday for 5 years now, where I play extended sessions of 8 to 12 hours, the venue is intimate, but the vibes and energy are high. It became something special for me and for
people, an appointment to look forward to every year :)”

Ibiza has been a cornerstone in many DJ’s careers. How your journey?
has the island influenced
“Ibiza has been the key of my global career, by opening the door to a new perspective. I arrived in 2008, playing for Meganite with Mario Picotto when nobody knew me yet. The following year I returned again playing for Mario, and had the feeling the island just did not work for me: I was not feeling it and I was not feeling the island felt me back either.”
“Years later, in 2012, something happened: Marco Carola called me telling me he was gonna bring his Music On events on the island and asked me to join the residency by playing in the Main Room during several shows. I remember performing at the first events with not very much crowd in front of me, but as the weeks were passing by, I felt the excitement growing for my performances and eventually at the end of the residency and season I was performing in front of more than 1000 people - which was a really big accomplishment for me and us all considering everyone just wanted to be on The Terrace. I remember being very happy about it. The following year, 2013, of course I was back again as a resident, still in The Main Room, and we can say I became the second headliner of the residency af- ter Marco, while Amnesia started to feel like home.”
“In 2014, my third year as resident, something happened: one night Marco was unable to perform as he was ill and I was asked to take his slot in The Terrace. That performance has been a huge turning point in my career. You know, back in the days people were going to Amnesia and all they wanted to do was dance in The Terrace without even knowing who was playing in the other room, so I knew that was really the day I had my shot to perform for the island and show to Ibiza who I really was. I knew playing in that room was going to be something big and special for me, and I can say I managed to deliver one of the best sets of my career. From that moment everything changed for me in Ibiza. Step by step my name started to become bigger and bigger on the island and you know, the rest is history.”
