A pesar de que 10.000 personas han solicitado que se salve el venue, el ayuntamiento ha aprobado los planos.
Después de muchos debates y peticiones para salvar el club londinense, Printworks cerrará definitivamente después de que el Ayuntamiento de Southwark haya aprobado los trámites para su renovación.

Audio Obscura vuelve con toda su fuerza para celebrar un ADE sin restricciones haciendo en este año una inolvidable edición al organizar tres fenomenales eventos del 20 al 22 de octubre. Contando con una excelente reputación tras presentar espectáculos en los espacios más inusuales, la productora vuelve a la fabrica ‘RAW’ para consentir una vez más a los visitantes con lo más vanguardista de la es- cena underground presentando a leyendas como: Adria- tique, Âme, Anetha, Blawan b2b SPFDJ, Dax J, Ellen Allien, Hector Oaks, Mano Le Tough entre otros.
Se espera que próximamente se anuncien más artistas al cartel para el jueves 20 de octubre, garantizando que ver- emos algunos de los artistas más queridos al escenario de Audio Obscura. Tras el enorme éxito que tuvo el debut de Audio Obscura en ‘RAW FACTORY’ durante las ediciones pasadas del ADE, la edición de este año está destinada a ser uno de los eventos más esperados y comentados de esa semana.

Audio Obscura is back in full force to celebrate a full blown, non-regulations and restrictions Amsterdam Dance Event, making this year’s edition unforgettable by organizing three phenomenal events on 20, 21, and 22 Oc- tober. With a reputation for putting on events in the city’s most unusual spaces, Audio Obscura are heading back to RAW Factory, treating their visitors once again to the most cutting-edge underground legends such as Adria- tique, Âme, Anetha, Blawan b2b SPFDJ, Dax J, Ellen Allien, Hector Oaks, Mano Le Tough, and many others.
A very special and soon to be announced line up has been put together for Thursday October 20th, as it will see some of the crowd’s most beloved artists return to the Audio Obscura stage.
After an immensely successful debut at RAW Factory during last year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, Audio Obscu- ra’s 2022 edition is set to be one of the most anticipated and talked about events of the week.

La noticia de su posible renovación llegó por primera vez en octubre del año pasado, donde se detallaron los planes para convertir el club en un bloque de oficinas. Ese mismo mes, la inmobiliaria British Land presentó una propuesta al Ayun- tamiento de Southwark. Desde entonces, los seguidores del icónico local, con capacidad para 6.000 personas, se movi- lizaron para rescatarlo, con más de 10.000 firmas recogidas en una petición a través de
change.org para que se retiraran dichos planes. Por el momento se desconoce cuándo será el cierre del club, Sin embargo, el equipo de Printworks ya se encuentra en la mira para desarrollar la nueva sede.

After much debate and calls for the London venue to be saved, Printworks is set to close down for good after South- wark Council approved plans for its renovation. News of its potential regeneration first came in October last year detailing plans for the club to be developed into a block of offices. Property developer British Land submitted a pro- posal to Southwark Council in the same month. Since then, fans of the iconic 6,000-capacity venue rallied for its rescue with over 10,000 signatures on a
change.org petition call- ing for plans to be scrapped. It’s currently unknown when the club will be made to close, although developments for a new venue from the team behind Printworks are now currently un- derway.
