Siguiendo los pasos del aclamado lanzamiento de ‘Desti- nation Unknown’ en 2014, el dúo Pig&Dan regresa después de ocho años con una esperada continuación de di- cho material. ‘Destination Unknown II’ es una excusión de diez tracks que exploran una selección ecléctica de trip hop, dubbed out electrónico, y una paleta de sonidos down-tempo. Este álbum está ya disponible vía Bedrock Records. CHICANE CELEBRÓ EL 25 ANIVERSARIO DE SU ÁLBUM DEBUT CON ‘FAR FROM THE MADDENING CROWDS (EVOLUTION MIXES).
En 1997, Chicane lanzó un álbum que prontamente le ed- ificó un lugar en la cultura global de la música dance. El álbum ’Far For The Maddening Crowds’ resguardó un am- plio panorama de seductores hits para clubs como soni- dos que mostraban la belleza baleárica. Algunas personas se sentaban a las afueras del Café Mambo para mirar el atardecer al compás de tracks como ‘Offshore’ o bien di- rigirse a la pista de baile para abrazar una cadencia más energética al ritmo de ‘From Blue To Green’.
Por un mínimo instante el mundo de la música dance era Ibiza, y Chicane le dio un empujoncito a través de una colección de himnos que iban acorde a cada momento y estado de ánimo. Hoy en día, el productor británico ha re- gresado a ese punto de origen tanto para él como para un sinfín de fanáticos al celebrar el veinticinco aniversario de ese álbum al entregarnos ‘Evolution Mixes’ con los tracks que impactaron la escena de forma significativa.

The year is 1997, and Chicane just released the album that would promptly cement its spot in global dance music cul- ture. ‘Far From The Maddening Crowds’ covered a broad landscape of club hits and ambient allure, of night-time sensation and Balearic beauty. Many sat on the rocks out- side Café Mambo and watched the sun go down to ‘Off- shore’ or stepped onto the dance floor to embrace the more energetic cadence of tracks such as ‘From Blue To Green’.
For a brief moment, the world of dance music was Ibiza, and Chicane lent a hand with a collection of anthems befitting each moment and each mood, from the beach to the clubs. And now, the British producer returns to the point where it all began for himself and countless of his fans, celebrating the album’s 25th anniversary with all new Evolution Mixes of the tracks that impacted the scene so greatly.
