Notice is hereby given that on 17 March 2008 Kibble Valley Borough Council (“the Council") in exercise of its powers under Sections 32,35, and Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the 1984 Act ’) and by vinue of the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Aiea)(Counly of Lancashire) Order 2004 (“the Lancashire Order”) and the provisions referred to in the Lancashire Order and of all other enabling powers, and with the consent of Lancashire County Council in accordance with section 39(3) of the 1984 Act and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act, made the above Order (“the Order”)- The Order will come into effect on 31 March 2008. The effect of the Order is to: (1) update the Order to take into account the Traffic Management Act 2004 (2) update the charges in column 7 of the Schedule to the Order, (3) revoke the Kibble Valley (Off-Street Parking Places) Order 2006, and the Ribble (Off-Street Parking)(Chipping) Order 2008. The Schedule to this Notice shows the days and times of operation, the maximum period for waiting, the classes of vehicles for which the parking places will be available and the charges proposed to be made ft^S^ use of the parking places.


. . Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order will be available for inspection by the public during normal office hours at the Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroc, BB7 2RA for a period of six weeks from the date of this notice.


If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, the Lancashire Order, the provisions referred to in the Lancashire Order, or any other instrument or enabling powers or on the grounds that any requirement of such legislation has not been complied with in relation to the Order that person may do so by application to the High Court within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order.
