Imaginations running

IMAGINATIONS ran riot when Sabden children designed eggs for an Easter

model competition at their school. Eggs danced on ice and a Superman egg

flew against a backdrop of New York skyscrapers.-

Mrs Sandra Dundon, headteacher at

Sabden Primary School, said: “Every year they come up with something differ

ent. They [the eggs] are incredible. They give hours of pleasure for the children and parents who come to see them.” Each child received a bar of Fairtrade

chocolate for taking part. ; Pupils Owen Parker (five) and Daisy Lee (nine) with their decorated Easter Eggs.

Hospice a t Home enables

at the Castle Medical Centre, and hospice manager Lyn Stevenson have worked together to support the initiative. Ms Stevenson said: “We are always very keen to offer our

expertise, knowledge and experi ence to benefit all the communities we serve and I feel the partnership will be a huge success in the Ribble Valley.” Mr Mileham added: “We are

delighted to be able to support the excellent work done by our district nurses in caring for people who choose to end their lives a t home, surrounded by their loved ones. We are most fortunate to have such a dedicated team of nurses who pro vide a wonderful service to our local community.” He continued: “We are most
