A FAMILY-of-four from Barrow has relived the terrifying scram ble to flee the fatal hotel fire in the seaside resort of Newquay. Mrs Ann-Marie Hind (41), who
was on holiday in Cornwall with her husband, Graham (43), 10-year-old daughter Emily and son Daniel (16), who suffers from cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user, described the moment the family found itself stumbling to safety as a fireball con sumed the Penhallow Hotel in a matter of minutes. jumping from one of the upper floors in the blaze, which ripped through the four-storey seafront building in the early hours of Satur day. Police believe two people still
missing also perished in the blaze. Four holiday-makers were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital. More than 100 fire-fighters bat
tled the fire at the 54-room hotel, which has now been reduced to rub ble.
