of our reply, and they probably think they have it won, but by the time the rain brings proceedings to a close we are still in with a chance - 81 required off 10 overs with Naeem still at the crease. The following day is a cracker, and
extra gear or two when required, but with the treble already won, we relaxed and coasted through most of the game in neutral. A slightly disappointing end, but to
thanks to Baxenden’s ground staff remo-ving the covers in the morning, we have a great wicket to bat on. Naeem smashes their bowling to all
games in three days as the first trophy of the season is claimed at Harwood in

as Harwood need nine to win from the last over. Danny Glover steps up and bowls the over of his life as Harwood “bottle it”, only managing two runs from six balls. I almost feel slightly guilty as
parts of the ground to silence the-Har- wood faithful, and is well supported by Danny Turner as we win -with two overs to spare. We have a big night back at the club, and I am not alone in being w’befully hung over at work the following morning! The following weekend we play our
closest rivals, Padiham - we are 14 points clear and victory oyer them will see the league.title within our
