Fantastic response to appeal

AN appeal in the Clitheroe Advertiser and Times for a raffle drum has had an overwhelming response. Fr Philip Price, of the English

Martyrs RC Church in Whalley, requested a drum to use for a raf fle. “I was certain someone would offer a drum, but I was amazed

hot air balloon trip and a mag num of champagne, will be drawn in the Presbytery after Mass on Easter Sunday.

bingo player, 94-year-old Elsie Hodgson, should be called upon to receive the gift. Elsie said: “We have a lot of fun with

~iT ocal retailer Harry Garlick’s N have once again invested in “ their premises on King S.treet.

Having completed a major refurbishment only three years ago, they have now created the ultimate home theatre studio in presenting the all-new Bose Experience.

Staying one step ahead of the competition is vital to the management team at Harry Garlick’s. The opening preview last Sunday proved without doubt that this aim has been achieved. The atmosphere and ambience created in the first floor studio is simply fantastic. An authentic living space has been created to show how easy it can be to enjoy the delights of modern technology without it dominating your home.

At the press of only one button, the curtains will close, the lights will dim, a cinema screen descends from the ceiling, a projector beams an awesome six-foot image on the screen as surround sound from an elegant Bose Lifestyle System completes the ultimate cinema experience.

Howarth and Jepson, in providing a fantastic ‘stressless’ seating arrangement, Blue Door Designs, who have contributed soft furnishings, and frames and pictures from Tilt, have helped put the finishing touches to a venture by Harry Garlick’s that the people of Clitheroe can be proud of.

As the advert states . . . hear it to believe it . . . see it to believe. Indulge yourself, sit back, relax, have a coffee and enjoy the all-new Bose Experience.
