Annual meeting At the annual meeting of
Bolton-by-Bowland Village Hall, chairman Mr Roger Parks thanked the commit tee for its hard work in keeping things running smoothly and reported on the satisfactory progress of the alterations to the hall. He announced a celebration event will be held when the work is finished in early September. Treasurer Mr Colin Dar
regarding the reduction of reported crime in the vil lage. The perpetual problem of litter in the village was raised and extra waste bins are to be requested from Ribble Valley Borough Council. Finally, any items relat
ing to the village hall pro ject and appraisal have been passed to members of the steering group. The next council meeting
will be on June 12th at 7-30 p.m. and all residents are

Christian Aid Following on from Chris

Invited guests were Mrs Audrey Weatherill, past LFWI chairman and Mrs Stephanie Fort, vice-chair man of North Yorkshire West WIs. The theme of the meeting was "Tin Pan Alley" with songs by Cole Porter and George Gersh win, thoroughly enjoyed by members especially those who grew up with the music and were able to join in the
