Mrs Margaret Lewis (right), of St Chads Avenue, Chat- burn, has worked as a care assistant for the past decade and colleague Mrs Janet Clarkson, of Moorland Avenue, Clitheroe, was rewarded for 12 years' service. Powerpass card will provide entry to county attractions
A FUN day out for the family to a top tourist attraction in Lancashire could help raise cash for charity. The North West Tourist Board has joined forces with
Northern Electric and Gas, Century Radio and Max Spielmann to launch a new Powerpass card which will not only allow families two-for-one entry in various attrac tions, but also raise money for charity. Available from Tourist Information Centres and some
branches of Max Spielmann, the pass will allow access to attractions across the North West - including Clitheroe Castle - and others in Northumbria, Yorkshire, Central and Southern England, Wales and Scotland, with proceeds being donated to the Century Radio Community Trust.
