IF you enjoy sinning and dancing you would definitely have enjoyed "Fame". But those who like more of a story line would have been disappointed. The singing and dancing was fast, furious and full of

enthusiasm, but the storylines were predictable. Surprise, surprise, the main characters included a tear

away. a school (Imp out and a love-struck student. And the supposedly funny one-liners were so corny, they were bare

ly worth a titter. But saying all this, there were some brilliant perfor mances from numerous individuals, who all sang at least

one solo or duet, and not one of them could be faulted. Big and musclulur Tyrone Jackson was cool and charm

ing: Carmen Diaz was flirtatious and fiery; Latin loverboy •Joe Vegas was typically Continental and mad-cap Mabel Washington added humour to the show. All the '21-strong cast had so much energy and were so

full of life jumping, spinning and pirouetting from one end of the stage to the other - 1 was just dying to get up and

join them! 1 Ha rewo odHou sei lLiBedstJun ejITth.....US
