In 1999, we moved to Niagara on the Lake. We bought a 110-year-old house which had an old carriage house at the back of the property. The previous owner, also an artist, converted it into a studio. I was quite a prolific painter back then working in watercolour. In 2002, we moved to Singapore. It was an opportunity not to be missed. We spent 8
years in Asia, where I taught art classes for 7 years plus, I spent 2 years learning Chinese Brush Painting. After a while, I found that my watercolour paints were not vibrant enough to express my surroundings.
