Tremblay's painting was long associated with winter because it allowed him to play with contrasts, until the day he discovered acrylic and watercolor, which helped him discover the summer and understand all its nuances. Following that, he says: “There is always an element that attracts my attention, that piques my curiosity, that manages to amaze me. Painting is for me, an endless universe”. The vigor, the fervor of the artist's gaze communicates with certainty the emotion of his painting. We do not want to overlook his participation in the first Symposium of young
painting in Canada in 1982. This symposium has been held in Baie-Saint-Paul for 40 years. The 80s were very good for him, in terms of exhibitions and shows across Canada, at least thirty.
At the end of the 90s and the beginning of 2000, Tremblay made several trips
across Canada, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia and there he discovered the atmosphere and mist surrounding all the small fishing villages that he loves so much.
