Our goal was to create a beautiful suite for the client’s daughter. The room's layout created some challenges due to the sloping ceiling and long narrowness of the space. The young lady wanted a pink and blue bedroom to represent her colorful style. We used a stunning custom paint treatment on the wall that housed the bed to solve this issue. The hot pink wall with bold blue geometric lines helps to break up the narrow space. A beautiful contemporary ivory bed was placed between two blue chests. The white
bedding with a tan border was a good foundation for the hot pink bolster and patterned pillows in pink and blues that highlighted the room's color palette. A beautiful dresser was added to provide additional storage. It also combined well with the headboard and provided a cohesive look to the awkward space. To maximize space in the room, accent chairs in blue velvet were added to provide
additional seating. The contemporary white light fixture was whimsical and fun. We incorporated a hot pink custom cushion on the bookcase seating. In addition to the art near the bookcase, we hung 3D art opposite the bed to add interest to the sloping walls. The blue window treatment panels were banded in white and pink tape and hung on
gold hardware. The bookcase's Roman shade sported the same look. The beautiful white stone and gold lamps and accessories completed the space. We created a stunning contemporary bedroom filled with pops of color in a challenging sloped ceiling space and had our colorful client speechless.
