Potato cultivation secured by our owners
Our economic association is owned by farmers in southern Sweden, who also supply our most important raw material – the starch potato. Sweden has an ideal climate for potato cultivation which is a great strength when securing, long-term supply of high-quality starch products. Investments in effective and sustainable production At Lyckeby, we are constantly working to make things better in order to achieve higher efficiency and sustainability in the production facilities. Our commitment to circularity means we utilise the whole potato, leaving no waste behind. By managing all side streams and investing in new production techniques, we continuously enhance our capacity and processes. Improvements for a more eco- friendly production are made every year, by increasing energy reuse and replacing
fossil fuels. The development of more climate-friendly techniques to manufacture functional starches, such as LYCKEBY CAREFUL clean label starch, is of great importance to us.
