Addressing the different needs of women’s health
There is more to women’s health than simply narrowing it down to pregnancy, pre-menopause and post-menopause. Gencor takes a holistic approach to women’s health, and especially by ensuring women have access to the finest dietary supplements.
menopause. Dietary supplements play a crucial role in filling nutritional gaps and providing proper vitamin, mineral, and nutrient intake. They can correct deficiencies caused by poor diet, restricted eating patterns, food intolerances or medical issues, empowering women to avoid health problems as they move through different life stages.

Addressing pain and discomfort Levagen+ is a bioavailable form of Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA), a natural compound that the body produces in response to pain, inflammation and stress. However, PEA levels can decrease after prolonged exposure to these factors, making it necessary to replenish natural stockpiles with Levagen+.
PEA is an analgesic and anti-inflammatory in various controlled pain management studies. However, PEA supplements are typically poorly absorbed. Thanks to LipiSperse technology, Levagen+ PEA is superior in terms of bioavailability. In fact, a bioavailability study found that Levagen+ is 1.75 times more bioavailable than standard PEA, making it a highly effective supplement for managing pain and inflammation. Additionally, several studies have demonstrated that PEA and resveratrol can help reduce endometriosis discomfort in women. Similarly, Gencor’s VeriSperse offers double the bioavailability of standard

Addressing balancing iron levels A recent study showed nearly 40% of girls and young women don’t get enough iron, most likely due to menstruation. Lack of iron can affect sleep, thinking, energy and mood. Iron is essential for menstruation but a persistent difficulty for women. But iron supplementation presents challenges like gastrointestinal issues, such as nausea/vomiting, constipation or diarrhea, flatulence, metallic taste, staining of the teeth or epigastric distress and black stools. HydroCurc was tested with ferrous sulfate in three experiments. The first study found that FS with HydroCurc raised ferritin levels by 58% in low-ferritin patients. The ferritin test measures your iron storage. Increased ferritin levels suggest higher iron absorption and storage. In the second research, high FS + HydroCurc demonstrated significant whole blood hemoglobin and transferrin saturation changes. Co-administering Curcumin with FS did not reduce iron absorption in healthy persons, as previously thought. Finally, HydroCurc with iron reduced systemic inflammation and oxidative stress markers in the third research. Since iron is a prooxidant, it might induce gastrointestinal issues. These studies suggest that adding HydroCurc to iron supplementation may improve its advantages while reducing its adverse effects.
Gencor provides ample support for women at any stage of life. To achieve success, it’s recommended that we examine the underlying risk factors, biochemistry and physiology and then combine this information with the ingredients’ known mechanisms of action. This approach opens the door to creative and innovative formulation.
Let’s talk about sexual health It’s high time we end the taboo and make women’s health a priority and, let’s face it, there is nothing more taboo than talking about women’s sexual health. Sexual health and well-being are part of a woman’s overall general health, which includes physical and psychological health. By empowering women with information about their sexual health, we can make it less taboo and make women feel more comfortable with reading or talking about it with their healthcare practitioners. Libifem – Gencor’s proprietary standardised extract of Fenugreek to 50% saponins, for women’s health. Libifem has a unique mode of action that other Fenugreek extracts do not have due to the unique standardisation of saponins. These saponin glycosides have the basic cholesterol shell. Our body’s hormonal mechanisms are optimised by cholesterol as the starting material. Cholesterol gets converted by the body into DHEA, which the body then converts to androstenedione which in turn gets converted to the testosterone pathway for men and the oestrogen pathway for women. A clinical study showed it to support libido in younger women , as well as reduce menopausal symptoms (hot flashes and night sweats) in older women. These women also experienced increased levels of sexual desire and arousal compared to placebo. Libifem may be a safe and effective solution in increasing sex hormone levels and libido in women with low sexual drive. Libifem is such an impressive ingredient in the women’s health space that it was the Winner of the NI Ingredient of the Year Award in this category. ●
