Spa sensations for all the senses


By being the first to invent and construct ‘experience showers’, Kemitron is still leading the way by selling highly customisable offerings that combine atmospheric lighting, a range of scents and varying grades of water, whether mimicking heavy rainfall or simply gentle sea spray – bringing about customisable experiences for individual and commercial users alike.


A


t the beginning of the 1990s, Kemitron invented and constructed the first experience shower. Since then, the company has made a triumphal march around the world. It is impossible to imagine spas without it and it is now sold in different variations and by different suppliers all over the world.


In some versions, it no longer has much in common with the original product. The shower was conceived as an experience for all the senses, offering the greatest possible relaxation. The guest chooses one of the adventures on offer – for example, a tropical storm or coastal fog. By means of different rain or shower strengths and temperatures, coloured lights, matching fragrances and, optionally, even sound – the user is sent on a fantasy journey.


Different strengths of sprinkling constantly give the skin new impulses and a relaxing massage and water can be found in all forms; from hard raindrops to the finest mist; from warmth to ice-cold. In addition, various Kneipp applications including warm-cold alternating showers can be programmed. In this way, the skin is stimulated and well-supplied with blood while the soul goes on a journey.


Sight, sound and scent


Scents play a decisive role here, because the sense of smell activates experiences and emotions. For this purpose, scent intensity and intervals can be individually adjusted. Kemitron also offers matching fragrances. Customers can get them directly from the company’s website and they are shipped worldwide, with fragrance compositions according to recipes created by Kemitron that maintain their stability and intensity in hot and cold conditions and send users mentally into relaxing worlds.

A water cave shower experience, combined with different shower and lighting elements.


Changing coloured light stimulates visual sensations. Sounds such as birdsong or thunder can also be played. Despite product standardisation, Kemitron’s experience showers offer a surprising amount of variety – different water activities complemented by three different coloured light games and two sophisticated scents. The themes of the experience shower can be set and combined according to the customer’s wishes and replicate different sounds, smells and feelings. Even sea spray or fog can be produced, as well as a mountain stream, tropical storm or marine environment. An experience shower thus offers the visitor a predefined experience in which all sensory perceptions are addressed and activated.


Control your experience The control system and water distributor are available in different versions that can be adapted to different on-site conditions. The same applies to the ‘Shower Attraction’ panel (the shower canopy). This can be


produced in different shapes, whether round or rectangular. This stable, self-supporting plastic hard foam canopy is available in widths of up to 120cm. Built-in rain jets, colour and room light kits are pre-installed, ready for connection. An all-round carefree package is also supplied in terms of water distribution and connection. The Shower PipePanel takes care of the water connection for hot and cold water, as well as the distributor with stopcocks and built-in solenoid valves – everything is supplied. After the shower has been used, it needs to be cleaned. Here, Kemitron offers the perfect tools, such as Pure Wisin. In commercial spas, the walls, floors, seats and fittings should be thoroughly wiped down at the end of every day. Private users should wipe down this area after each use with our ‘Pure Spa + Bath Cleaner’ product. Again, thoroughly clean the walls, floors and seating areas, as well as the fittings ●
