If required, the natural oak veneer can be stained or painted to match any room’s existing décor, or to create a standout feature wall in any space. Meanwhile, our Shaker-style wall panelling set brings a simple Arts & Crafts style to any wall. The boards are all the same length so they can be cut to size on site, so tradespeople can create either traditional Shaker squares, or a more contemporary rectangular design.

SERVICE IS KEY We’re known industry wide for our great products, but our merchants and their customers tell us they are just as pleased with our first-rate customer service.

Our dedicated external and internal sales teams make sure all our merchants’ shelves stay fully stocked, and we offer fantastic marketing support such as brochures, point- of-sale materials and samples to help them grow their businesses. We also pride ourselves on our exceptional production processes, which is why our Astley and Glazebury sites have been recognised with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 accreditations to prove it. All our MDF is FSC-certified, and we adhere to the British Woodworking Federation’s Code of Conduct as standard. To ensure a first-rate distribution of products we maintain our own fleet of delivery vehicles and dispatch products from both our London and Manchester distribution centres. This means our merchants always receive exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. Local merchants can also collect our products from either of our distribution centres if they prefer. We have also achieved Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Bronze and Silver certification, which allows us to deliver into central London.

Although we have a huge core range offering, we also understand that our customers sometimes require non-standard

products to fulfil a specific customer need. Thanks to our advanced, in-house CNC and modelling machines, we can work from drawings or samples to create a 3D model of any shape or size. We’ll work with you to match any bespoke requirement, be it a profile, a particular finish, or precise machining for door hardware.

REDUCING OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT As the UK construction industry continues its journey towards a more sustainable, net- zero economy, we are continuing to support our local community, as well as supporting environmental causes and reducing waste across all our manufacturing processes while maintaining the very highest quality standards.

As part of our commitment to actively reduce our carbon footprint, we are delighted to be working in partnership with www.innovative-energy.org

Over the last decade, we have placed increasing emphasis upon improving our green credentials right across the business. We have installed solar panels on a number of our buildings, created an extremely energy efficient transport fleet to deliver our products, have invested in EV company cars and are continuing our long-standing policy of working with local suppliers wherever possible. We are also continuing to explore and invest in new ways to strengthen our environmental credentials. With the invaluable help of www.gmchamber.co.uk we were recently connected with www. innovative-energy.org, who are helping us establish a legitimate and current carbon footprint with subsequent strategies to reduce our emissions to the absolute minimum moving forward. We remain very excited at the opportunities available and are very much looking forward to leading the way in this most vital of issues for our team, our distributors and our customers alike. ■
