As if 2020 didn’t have enough going on, Chris Kolobow ’01 took the plunge and opened his own private family practice. He moved from the Washington, D.C. area to North Idaho in hopes of achieving that goal about eight years ago and here it is.

2002 Brendan Blowers joined McMillan Pazdan Smith, a leading Southeast commercial architecture and interior design firm, as head of digital marketing and communications. He will oversee the content strategy for all of the firm’s studios based in Greenville, Charlotte, Atlanta, Spartanburg and Charleston.
in Antigua, and they now reside in Fort Mill, South Carolina, where they are currently building the county’s first net-zero home. James is the proud uncle of two nieces (Ella and Zoë)—the daughters of his sister,Amy La Barrie Tomason ’01. In addition, James became a United States citizen in 2020.
2001 Shawn Bowers Buxton MFA ’04 published poetry inAzahares, a

literary journal, under her pen name Anita Cantillo. She has also been appointed as president-elect of the Carolinas Writing Program Administrators Organization and continues to teach at Queens.
Te class expresses sympathy to Shawn Bowers Buxton MFA ’04 on the death of her grandmother, Ella P. Bowers Spayde, who passed away on February 22.
Megan Barrick Taylor and family recently moved back to Charlotte after six years of living in South Carolina. A little over a year ago, she and her husband welcomed a new baby, a daughter named Selwyn. She enjoys being a stay-at-home mom to their two children.
2003 Recently promoted to a full professor of mathematics, Anne Sinko continues to share her love of mathematics with her students at the College of Saint Benedict/Saint John’s University in central Minnesota and is soon to take the mantle of chair of the mathematics department beginning

2004 Taryn Rimland Cabot recently extended her contract with USA Girl Scouts Overseas and plans to remain in Italy, where she’s been living and working since 2018, with her husband, Ted Cabot, and dog, Andi. Hopefully, travel will resume soon— Taryn, Ted and Andi miss visitors!
2005 Te class expresses sympathy to Lori Voci-Sohm on the death of her uncle, John Matthew Steinbach, who passed away on October 14, 2020.
