1983 Babette Davis Reeves, MA, MSW, LCSWrecently began work as a behavioral health scientist at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) medical center in metro Portland in its new Internal Medicine Residency Program. Since it is a new program, she will be helping design residents’ education in her specialty areas of mental health, chronic pain and trauma. She also sees patients within the clinic for short-term interventions and in her private practice for trauma specific treatment. She and her husband, Brian, have been


delightfully married for 34 years and have coast-to-coast sons, one in metro Portland and another in Brooklyn, New York. She enjoys organic gardening, bird watching, camping, canoeing and fermenting foods.

Leann Betts Malone is thrilled to have returned to the Carolinas. She and her husband, Bill, moved to Lancaster County, South Carolina, in January 2021, where Leann is the new executive director of Lancaster County First Steps. Leann and Bill look forward to enjoying this next chapter in their “most excellent adventure!”

Joy Stansbury Sickles is living in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Mike Cummings, and oldest son, Blaine. Joy and Blaine visited Pam Darlington Berg (Joy’s roommate at Queens) last summer (pre-Covid), and it was great to see her.Bryson Coffey Walker used to live in Columbus, but Joy is not sure she lives there anymore. If anyone knows, Joy would love to re-connect with Bryson, her husband, Kelley, and their four kids.

1989 Jennifer Martin Hall’s family made it through 2020. Daughters Melanie and Beth were sent home from college in March but returned in fall 2020. Melanie graduated early from UNC Asheville with honors,magna cum laude. Beth is a sophomore at UNC Greensboro. Tim has been working at home. Jennifer’s preschool closed in March and resumed in January. She is glad to be back at work with a new class. Te whole family is looking forward to summer and getting back to normal activities.
