UBER SHAMED IN STRIKING NEW ‘UBER IS FUMING’ AD BY LONDON ELECTRIC TAXI FIRM SHERBET
Sherbet Taxis, the all-electric black taxi company, is calling out Uber with its debut advertising campaign. Taxis across its 350 strong London electric fleet will feature the large, bold message “Uber is fuming”, and a strapline underneath explains: “They pump kilotonnes of exhaust into the air. We don’t”, with the branding “Sherbet Electric Taxi Co”. To highlight its message, the 'Uber is Fuming' taxi was cheekily parked outside Uber’s
offices and on London’s most polluted roads for a
cleaner’. Sherbet is the largest fleet of electric taxis in London and is constantly growing, with expectations to have 1,000 electric black taxis within the next two years. Asher Moses, CEO of

switched on to the needs of electric car owners after finding he can’t get the charge he needs in his home town. DevonLive reports that more EV charging points are to be installed across Torbay in an eight-year programme to bring the bay into line with the latest developments in transport technology. But Steve is urging the council to do more after being advised to buy an electric taxi - only to discover he can’t charge it in his home town. Steve, who drives for a local taxi firm, bought a 2018 Nissan which ticked all the boxes for sustainable transport, but only then realised there are no fast charging points in his home town of Brixham.
