Good morning sports fans!! Our football competition is now hotting up and at this very early stage we see Tony Jennings from ABC FC leading the way. Last year he came second in our inaugural competition and he is setting the pace again. At the foot of the table is Denise Royal (Dynamo Denise) who is not very dynamic at present! Next month’s tables should begin to separate the majority.
Meanwhile....
The new American football season is now in full swing and after three weeks we can begin to see the prospective winners.
My main recommendation is the heavily offense led NEW ORLEANS SAINTS who have the incomparable Drew Brees as their QB. At a top priced 12/1 with Stan James they will give you endless enter- tainment. However Superbowl’s tend to be won by the defense and with that in mind my second selection is the all pow- erful BALTIMORE RAVENS at 14/1 (Sky- bet, Coral) who I believe were the best team last year and should have beaten the Steelers in the Championship game. Back them now and also lay the Patriots. Space is at a premium this month so I will just outline my main fancies for different events.
