point of sale ..... point of sale ..... E7 & CAB DIRECT COME UP TRUMPS AGAIN

Chris King from Burgess Hill in West Sussex is the proud owner of New Peugeot E7 XS. Having driven an array of cabs, including saloons, TX’s and the old style clas- sic from Cab Direct, he is well placed to offer his critique.

Drive and Comfort When your cab is your office it’s vital that you have the right vehicle for the job. That’s why E7 was designed with the requirements of the modern-day driver front of mind. Like

many cabbies, Chris puts in a lot of hours – no less than 12 hours a day, 6 days a week. In fact, he did over 900 miles in his first three days with his New E7. As such, comfort is a high priority.

Chris hasn’t been dis- appointed.

And He

explains: “New E7 drives like a car - it’s certainly as good as any saloon I’ve driven. And the handling is just superb. The com- fort levels are excellent too. It’s by far the best taxi I’ve had. I would never go back.”

base model, and he’s definitely noticed the difference. He says: “The boot space in my new cab is incredible. I recently took 6 passen- gers with 12 lots of luggage to the airport and it was no problem. Thedriving area is more spacious too.

I

couldn’t be happier.” Versatility

Bags of Room

Today’s passengers often come with plenty of luggage and being able to accommodate

THE INCREDIBLE NEW SKODA SUPERB

berb’s outline is luxuri- ous and elegant, the new Superb super- sedes the design of its predecessor and offers a completely new car. Featuring the familiar three dimensional front grille and sculpted bon- net of the Skoda family, the Superb’s elegance, dynamism and a sophisticated road presence whilst the interior is designed with maximum comfort for driver and passen- gers alike.

A number of Skoda Superbs ready for uplift and delivery at The Taxi Centre.

“They couldn’t have built a better taxi” Watching the first trans- porter, full of the all new Skoda Superbs leaving The Taxi Centre for delivery to expectant customers, Allan McGinness, Sales Director of The Taxi Centre beamed with delight as he described the car as “the future vehicle of choice for the Private Hire and Taxi industry.”

McGinness

added, “I am not sure if Skoda meant it but they could not have built a better taxi for the pri- vate hire and taxi industry if they tried”. The new Skoda Superbs finally arrived into the country at the end of November and it certain- ly lived up to its name.

An additional 2cm leg room in an already spa- cious rear makes the car feel cavernous for the passengers allowing for even the largest of peo- ple to travel in real comfort. Retaining many of its predecessor’s qualities such as all round electric windows, air conditioning, CD player and a two year unlimited mileage war- ranty the car offers outstanding value for money.

However the real differ- ence is the ingenious new ‘Twindoor’ function that with the touch of a button allows the car to be both a saloon and a hatchback, depending on the users needs at the time.

Whilst the original Sup-

The materials used give the interior a high qual- ity feel and with a combination of ergonomically designed features, soft touch dash boards and enormous legroom, passengers truly travel in style.

Available in S, SE and Elegance models the car uses the extremely popular and reliable Volkswagen TDI engine and is available in the automatic DSG gearbox. Overall there is no doubt that the car has a real future in the industry and is the new benchmark to which other manufac- turers will have to aspire. this is crucial. That’s why New E7 brings you an amazing 70% more luggage capacity. Even better, the celebrated EasySlide™ rear seat allows you to create even more space for loading cases out of the way. And now with the option of the E7 plus, the long wheel- base model offering even greater room, you’re sure to be able to cater for every fare. Chris opted for the E7 plus, the long wheel

There is little doubt that taxis provide a vital component of the UK’s public transport network.

Disabled

people in particular often depend on taxis to get around, which is why New E7 raises standards in accessi- bility for disabled passengers with Cab Directs revolutionary EasyGlide™ ramp. The versatility provid- ed by New E7 has proved to be one of the biggest plus points for Chris. He explains: “The EasyGlide ramp

is simply brilliant. It lit- erally takes seconds to secure a wheelchair passenger.

As far as

I’m concerned every- body has the right to public transport and New E7 makes that effortless. The twin electric side-steps are an excellent feature too.”

Chris enthuses about New E7 XS. He says: “I can’t fault my new cab and I would defi- nitely recommend it. The service I received at Cab Direct was fan- tastic too. I’m most certainly a happy cus- tomer.”
