A 2016 collaboration takes THE PLAZA Seoul to new heights
Starting January 1, THE PLAZA Seoul’s new partnership with Marriott International’s luxury lifestyle brand, The Autograph Collection, will make its debut in Korea. THE PLAZA Seoul, an iconic hotel in Seoul, combines a unique and stylish design and curating personalized service with Marriott International’s market expertise. These changes coincide with the property’s 40th anniversary, a fitting way to look forward to both a global and prestigious future. The Autograph Collection will fully embrace the rich culture and heritage surrounding THE PLAZA Seoul, incorporating local culture and art into its overall brand operations and services. Guests can still expect THE PLAZA Seoul’s stylish interior, signature scent and music each time they visit the property, located in the centre of Seoul’s historic district, opposite the city’s symbolic City Hall. As a result of the partnership, added perks include the incorporation of the Marriott Rewards customer loyalty programme at THE PLAZA Seoul. With more than 50 million
members worldwide, guests can sign up for the customer loyalty programme free of charge and earn points when they stay at a Marriott International hotel. The members can redeem their points for 250 exclusive benefits, including stays at more than 4,200 Marriott International hotels operating as 19 brands in 80 countries around the world, flight miles with airline partners, Hertz car rental service in the United States, and cruises. To celebrate THE PLAZA Seoul becoming the first Autograph Collection property in Korea, it is offering a special package and promotion with various benefits that will provide a unique experience to all guests starting from January 2016.
