Etihad opens New York JFK lounge
Etihad Airways has opened a First and Business Class Lounge in Terminal 4 at New York’s JFK airport. Located after the security checkpoint in Terminal 4, the lounge features Etihad’s “Facets of Abu Dhabi” design theme, with colours that reflect the varying sandy hues of the UAE landscape.
Food and drink options include a bar and lounge and an à la carte and international buffet option in the main dining area. The facility also features showers and changing rooms, male and female prayer rooms, a library and luggage storage. A private area is also available exclusively for guests in The Residence – providing the same level of hospitality as that offered by the Savoy-trained butlers on board the A380.

Earn bonus points with SPG Keyless
Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) members now have an added incentive to use SPG Keyless during their stay. A new promotion, running until February 29, 2016, grants members 2,500 bonus Starpoints when they take advantage of the SPG Keyless service. This one-time bonus is limited to a single stay, but extends to any participating W, Aloft or Element hotel that supports SPG Keyless.

United opens lounges in Atlanta and San Francisco
United Airlines has opened new lounges at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International and San Francisco International airports. The United Club facilities are part of the airline’s US$100 million lounge transformation programme. The nearly 460 sqm Atlanta United Club Lounge has a capacity of more than 100 people and is located between gates 11 and 12 on the mezzanine level of Concourse T.
The San Francisco United Club Lounge is 550 sqm in size and is located in the newly renovated Terminal 3 East Concourse, which also recently reopened. It can seat 130 guests.
