Sofitel Kunming’s design features are inspired by an interpretation and blending of Yunnan’s ethnic diversity and the signature style of iconic French haute design. In the lobby, red glass fronted balconies and soaring crystal-encrusted drapes invoke the French theatre. Also featured are oversized Yunnanese cultural elements and a multimedia water wall projection. A panoramic view of the city or Dianchi Lake can also be enjoyed from the hotel’s 397 rooms and restaurants.
