Available in black or neutral shades, the sleek device has been designed with comfort in mind, with soft lambskin and cowhide leather. Anodised aluminium has been chosen to ensure the product “ages with beauty”, with scuffs over time adding personality. The H7 headphones connect to devices via Bluetooth 4.1 and promise to deliver an authentic and well-balanced sound. The side-touch interface works with gloves and the battery offers up to 20 hours of wireless playtime. Priced at €449 (US$490).

PREMIUM steak and seafood restaurant Char, in Shanghai’s Hotel Indigo, has launched a steak masterclass to be held on the last Thursday of every month. The session begins with a classroom-style lecture (in English or Chinese) covering animal husbandry, types of cow, various cuts of beef, dry-ageing and, ultimately, how to select a quality beef product. This will be followed by a practical demonstration from chef Willmer Colmenares, who will point out visual indicators of quality, such as marbling, colour and texture, as well as some insider cooking tips. A light lunch will also be served to allow diners to put their new knowledge to the test. Masterclasses will be held from 1pm to 3pm and cost RMB350 (US$55) per person. Reservations recommended.
