space, the Zuidas, Amsterdam’s business and financial district is growing still, and has attracted major corporations, including Google and American Express which have set up European bases here. Across the Ij, Amsterdam- Noord is becoming one of the city’s most up-and-coming neighbourhoods, with structures such as the A’DAM Tower, a contemporary 22-storey event space and hotel, and the EYE Filmmuseum attracting a flood of start-ups and entrepreneurs, while the district’s new Hamerkwartier is brimming with hip bars and restaurants, and a burgeoning micro-brewery scene. For post-conference downtime, delegates need look no
further than the city’s historic centre, with its world- class galleries, atmospheric canal-side bars and a dazzling dining scene, making Amsterdam a natural choice for your next event.
CONSERVATORIUM Built in 1897 as a Dutch savings bank, the 129-room Conservatorium hotel in Museumplein is one of the city’s established grande dames. A former music school, the acoustics are well-tuned for meetings and conferences in all six event spaces.
