And even more…

This year was a big one for CILIP’s flagship children’s book awards, which secured new sponsorship from Yoto, helping to ensure a sustainable future for the newly re-branded Yoto Carneg- ies. Into 2023 There have been many challenges in 2022, but there have also been opportunities as the post-pandemic landscape becomes clearer. CILIP has looked at how it should respond to meet these challenges and take advantage of opportunities, support- ing the profession and the individuals working in it. We saw the return of CILIP Conference as an in-person event for the first time since the pandemic, and there will be exciting news about Conference 2023 to look forward to in the new year. Next year is likely to present its own challenges, at least in the short term – the war in Ukraine continues, inflation continues to impact on prices and yet more government spending cuts are on the horizons – yet once again CILIP will be here to help. CILIP membership delivers huge value for those working in the profession, with a huge range of benefits allowing you to tailor your own experience.
