Rose Prick EDP joins Tom Ford’s Private Blend collection
American fashion designer and beauty brandowner, Tom Ford has added to his Private Blend fragrance line with Rose Prick, said to be inspired by his own rose garden. The new scent is already available at existing Tom Ford counters in travel retail. “The prick of a rose; the slight pain that yields such sensual pleasure; inspired by my own rose garden, Rose Prick is a wild bouquet of intoxicating and rare hybrids,” said Tom Ford of his latest creation. The multi-talented fashion industry veteran and film director says that the juice involves ‘a trilogy of Rose de Mai, Turkish and Bulgarian roses.’ “Sharp and pristine. Warm and sensual. A heady bouquet of blooms in pink perfection. The danger of being so close to beauty heightens the seductive power of Rose Prick,” he added. The fragrance ‘opens’ with notes of Bulgarian roses and Rose de Mai, pierced with Sichuan pepper and the ginger-like spice of turmeric extract. At the heart of the scent lies Bulgarian
Rose, one of the rarest varieties of rose in the world, with over a million blossoms required to make one kilogram of rose oil, insisted Tom Ford.
Moroccanoil is rolling out to more US locations with 3Sixty Duty Free aside increasing its cruise presence in partnership with Somar Distribution and Starboard Cruise Services. In Latin America, the brand is working
on an expansion plan to open up leading doors with Dufry and is looking at opportunities in the Middle East, Asia and Africa. More retailers across the channels are
electing to offer Moroccanoil products on a click-and-collect basis for a smoother customer experience.
