Millennials still motivated by price in duty free shops

In a report published by Swiss research agency m1nd-set, it has been revealed that 30% of millennials visit duty free stores because of a perceived price advantage. M1nd-set explored the importance

of value and promotions to millennial travellers, how they impact visiting and shopping behaviour as well sharing information on other behavioural traits such as price comparison. As well as detailing behaviour in travel

retail specifically, the report also reiterated some of the basic browsing and buying behaviour of the age group. “The eternal quest for a good deal,

their desire for an interesting and innovative experience when shopping, their willingness to change brands for a good deal but their loyalty to brands that reward them with good prices are some of the aspects discussed in the report,” commented m1nd-set. The m1nd-set millennials report reveals specific

insights on their behaviour in duty free shops, looking at the evolution in recent years.
