Biotherm unveils new campaign and rebrand at CPH
The Biotherm skin care brand launched its new ‘#LIVEMORE’ activation at the end of April, in what brandowner L’Oréal describes as ‘an exceptional event’ at Copenhagen Airport, encouraging passing passengers to stop at the shop-in-shop to receive a two- step personalised skin diagnosis. The company says that its new retail
expression is a ‘perfect illustration of the brand’s new concept’, which was unveiled last year through its online platform #LIVEMORE (
http://livemore.biotherm.com/). This allows Biotherm to share beauty,
nutritional and fitness advice – with both men and women – to help them feel good in both body and mind, with #LIVEMORE designed to be more than a mere concept. L’Oréal Travel Retail says that step one
comprised a skincare diagnosis with a ‘Skin Fit Profiler’. The aim of this was to identify the
passenger’s skin type, which allowed Biotherm’s beauty advisors to then provide relevant advice and suggest the right skincare routine. Step two involved a lifestyle health
and nutrition consultation with Umahro Cadogan, the renowned Danish nutritionist and author of ‘Every woman’s health bible’. Through this consultation passengers
could discover how to improve their nutritional habits in order to ultimately tackle their skin concerns.
Safe bag wins ‘open-ended’ contract at Warsaw Airport
Safe Bag has won an ‘open-ended contract’ to supply its own integrated range of services for travellers at Warsaw’s Frédéric Chopin Airport, starting from 1 July. Warsaw Airport, which served a total of
around 13m passengers in 2016, also saw a traffic increase of 28.5% in the first quarter of 2017, year on year. “Frédéric Chopin Airport is a reference
point for the airport system in Eastern Europe,” said Alessandro Notari, CEO of Safe Bag. “The duration of licences is a crucial
element in the stability of our income,” added Rudolph Gentile, Chairman of Safe Bag. “This open-ended contract confirms the
high level of innovation of our offer and the excellent international credibility achieved by the group.”
Hollywood’s Haley Bennett is new face for Chloé brand
American actress and singer Haley Bennett (below) will be the new face of Chloé’s advertising campaign to coincide with the 10th anniversary of Chloé’s signature fragrance. Bennett joins the cast of ‘free-spirited’
Chloé girls who have all represented the popular fragrance brand, including actresses Dree Hemingway, Clémence Poesy, and Chloe Sevigny, to model Anja Rubik – to name a few. After her Hollywood debut in Music
and Lyrics opposite Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, the actress has since appeared in a variety of feature films, starring alongside some of the industry’s best actors including Denzel Washington, Emily Blunt, Warren Beatty, and Chris Pratt. Bennett’s most recent credits
include roles in The Magnificent Seven (2016) and The Girl On The Train (2016), and the upcoming, Thank You for Your Service (2017).
The key ingredient, cypress oil, known
as ‘blue gold’ – said to be the world’s only naturally blue essential oil distilled from a tree – has been sourced from Cape York, Australia. Carla Chabert, the master perfumer
who created the new collection, describes Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel as a combination of ‘classical marine notes with cold spices’, which interpret the colour blue.
