READ FOR MY SCHOOL

Read for My School is a free digital reading and fundraising app. It allows PTAs to create a custom digital challenge that gets kids excited about reading, while providing a fundraising opportunity. The easy-to- use tools can create, manage and promote your reading challenge across any mobile device. Motivate your community by setting up reading and fundraising goals, as well as leader boards. Students can add books to their personal bookshelf to track reading minutes, and you can create recommended book lists. It’s powered by Stripe, allowing you to manage all online pledge donations directly within the app. Visit readformyschool.com to fi nd out more.

Krispy Kreme Fundraising Doughnuts We all deserve a treat this year, so why not try Krispy Kreme’s Fundraising Doughnuts scheme this term? Simply purchase your doughnuts online at the discounted price of £5.50 per dozen, collect them from your chosen store on the day of the sale, and sell on to your school community for a profi t. All doughnuts are baked freshly on the day of collection, and most PTAs sell them for £1 each – making £6.50 profi t per box! With a minimum order of fi ve-dozen doughnuts, it’s a fundraiser that can suit any school size. Enquire now at krispykreme.co.uk/fundraising-doughnuts-how-it-works.

Wilko Helping Hands

Every Wilko store has a budget so it can lend a helping hand to local groups and community projects. Support includes Wilko gift cards, product donations and volunteers to help with whatever you’re doing in your community. Wilko has also been helping schools during the pandemic. Last year, St Francis Catholic Primary School in Melton Mowbray was given a bumper cleaning package (right) when it was unable to get hold of the quantity of products required to make the school safe for pupils. Whatever your need, fi ll in the application form at corporate.wilko.com and hand it in to your local store to see if Wilko is able to give a little helping hand.
