As part of its commitment to offering young people opportunities to broaden their horizons, develop skills and unlock potential, Rotary’s Youth Competitions programme offers a platform for talents to shine. Through a series of local, regional and national contests, students are challenged in a fun and friendly way. The extensive programme has many categories, including Young Chef (where students plan and cook a nutritious three-course meal on a budget), Young Citizen, Young Writer and Young Environmentalist. There are also debating programmes and technology tournaments. All competitions are open to secondary school pupils aged 11-17, with some also open to primary school children. For more details, visit
